Compare Prescription Drug Plans and Medicare Advantage plans to see pricing and available plans in your state and county. This is a great way to save money on prescriptions. You can compare Retail vs. Mail Order costs as well.

4) State Pharmaceutical Assistance Programs

Many states offer to help to pay drug plan premiums and/or other drug costs.

7) At Your Best

Eldercare Locator is an accessible transportation option for older adults and people with disabilities. It allows seniors to customize transportation to their unique circumstances. It could be a helpful resource during Covid-19.

Free Service of the National Council on Aging (NOCA) that helps identify benefits that could save you money and cover the costs of expenses such as medications, food, utilities, legal, health care, housing, in-home services, taxes, transportation, employment training.

Amazon Prime is offering all individuals a free 30 day trial of prime shipping along with Prime video. It contains many of the movies and shows that you love! Not only is this a good save, but it offers hours of entertainment!

It serves older adults and individuals with disabilities live with dignity and choices in their homes and communities for as long as possible.

Additionally, we want to remind our clients of the senior hours in numerous grocery stores. Here is an extensive list: 

  • Costco – 9:00 am to 10:00 am
  • Dollar General – first hour open 
  • Hy-vee – 7:00 am to 8:00 am 
  • Kroger – 7:00 am to 8:00 am 
  • Schnucks – 6:00 am to 7:00 am
  • Target – first hour open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays 
  • Trader Joe’s – 8:00 am to 9:00 am or 9:00 am to 10:00 am depending on the store location 
  • Walgreens – 8:00 am to 9:00 am every Tuesday 
  • Walmart – first hour to open on Tuesday depending on the store location
  • Whole Foods – one hour before the store opens depending on the store location
