September is Life Insurance Awareness Month; a campaign sponsored by industry leaders used to educate and inform consumers about life insurance and the value it holds for you and your loved ones. Life insurance can be utilized in two ways.
- You can choose to have a term life insurance plan, which allows you to choose coverage for a set duration of time, often either 10, 15, or 20 years.
- You can also choose a permanent life insurance plan, this option is more expensive but will last the duration of your life and will grow in cash value.
